Haunted Halloween!

It's 47 days until Halloween which means if you're planning to cook up some devilish treats, turn your home into a haunted house or take the little ones trick or treatin' then you need to start thinking about decorations, party favours and costumes.

All of your favourite supermarkets (AsdaTescoSainsbury's) will have lots of Halloween treats and goodies on sale so pop into your local store or visit them online to see what's on offer. If, however, you wish to buy props, tableware, decorations etc. via online party stores then I've found a few sites that you may be interested in.

First up there's Misi. It isn't a party site, it's actually a lovely online craft marketplace, offering a selection of handmade, high quality products for every occasion. Here are my top Misi Halloween buys:
cute trick or treat bags £4. What I love about these little trick or treating bags is that the black fabric is of a fuzzy texture, the stars are actually little gems and the moon is reflective! The little ones are sure to love these bags :)
Then there's these seasonal jute bags on sale for just £2. These are made with natural materials and come in two different styles: little handbag or drawstring. You choose what decoration you would like (maybe a ghost for Halloween or some seasonal holly for Christmas) and you can even get the bag personalised with a name for a small extra charge- love it!
Or you can opt for these hand-stencilled jute bags at £5 each. Choose from the spider design or the pumpkin design. Again, these bags can be personalised for an additional £2 and you can choose the wording and colours- it may just be that you want initials rather than a whole name.
Also on sale are these small, lined drawstring bags for £4.
I also love these Halloween shabby chic shelf blocks priced at £12.99:
The aged finish on the edges gives it a timeless vintage look and the set has been finished with a protective coat of wax. These blocks would make great Halloween decoration, be it on the mantelpiece, shelf, or as part of a window or table display.

You can also visit one of my favourite sites, Dotcomgiftshop for a set of 6 Halloween ghost T-lights for £1 or for these gothic skull cake cases (a pack of 72 for £1.50):
Or if you want to up your game then why not visit The Laughing Stock.co.uk for a range of gruesome crops and creepy decorations:
(from left to right, apologies for the tiny thumbnails! Visit the link for a better view) Mummy clear plastic door decoration for £3.14, ideal to hang on doors; Doctor Gore scene room kit for £13.84, measures 12 feet long and 8 feet high; bloody hand print shower curtain at £11.99, this is a real shower curtain and includes a set of shower curtain hooks; pumpkin and ghosts lights for £13.98, a set of 20 mains operated lights.

There's also Halloween Party Decorations.co.uk which offers a selection of Halloween goodies from tableware, invitations and decorations to party games, masks and accessories- they have it covered! I particularly love their Halloween latex balloons! (and the creepy skeleton on that page, it makes me giggle!) Here are a few designs:
Also, Chicken Shop.co.uk have a wide range of fancy dress costumes and props. I particularly love their scary masks and spooky hats:
I now bring you Partybox.co.uk, stocking a range of thrilling Halloween bundles to add the finishing touches to your Halloween fest:
You may also want to check out Halloween Fancy Dress.com for some amazing props and decorations, from tombstones and cauldrons to hanging witches and black light bulbs! I love how original some of their Halloween stuff is- it's sure to make your Halloween party stand out from the crowd :)

Next, it's Just For Fun.co.uk. Add a touch of terror to your Halloween with a ghastly selection of Halloween essentials. Here are just a few wicked picks:

Then there's Party Domain.co.uk which is great for spooky Halloween costumes, available for ladiesmen, as well as kids. Here's a small collection of some of their best costumes:

For extra Halloween bits and bobs, visit Party Stuff Online.co.uk:

Let me finish off by introducing you to this adorable chap!
He has yet to be named so he can find a new home but this sweet Halloween cat is from the lovely Treacher Creatures. They design and create cute one-of-a-kind sock creatures. They also make Single Edition traditional teddy bears and fleece toys!

You can find them on FacebookEtsy or Folksy. Their little creations make for great gifts for loved ones so be sure to check them out :) and don't forget that this charming Halloween cat will be listed tonight so keep an eye out!

So whatever you do this haunted Halloween, be sure to do it in style- and feel free to pop an invite in the post! ;)

"When you're young, your whole life is about the pursuit of fun. Then, you grow up and  learn to be cautious. You could break a bone or a heart. You look before you leap and sometimes you don't leap at all because there's not always someone there to catch you. And in life, there's no safety net. When did it stop being fun and start being scary?"

Speak to you soon lovely ladies!
