Jumper Dresses ♥

Getting dressed just got easier! The lovely jumper/sweater dress is back- with a vengeance. Today, it centres around many themes- it's not just about a plain cable knit dress anymore, nono! This season sees a wide range of patterns, colours and textures from cable knits and pom pom additions to animal prints and sweet slogans- there is just too much to choose from!

They're so easy to wear which makes it one of my favourite wardrobe essentials. Sex up a plain jumper dress by adding a belt to accentuate your waist and curves or, alternatively, add a chunky necklace to inject a bit of colour! Pair with ribbed/opaque tights or thick socks or legwarmers- or both for added sox appeal ;) Add a rebellious pair of worker/military/ankle boots, brown cowboy fringed boots or a sexy pair of ankle boots to complete the outfit- casual chic at its best!

Steal Catwalk Style

Today I bring you a number of ways in which you can steal catwalk style- what's even better is that you can do so without spending the pennies, it's all just a matter of style! From scrunching down your socks and teaming them with some lace up boots to adding a bright belt to an otherwise monotone ensemble- simple! Let's get started :)

Buy an extra long belt and let it trail

Tuck in your sweater (and add a statement belt if you wish)

Pop the collar up on your blazer/coat/jacket

Scrunch down your socks and wear with lace-up boots

Try out white tights

Layer and criss-cross two or more belts

Contrast a one-colour ensemble with a bright belt

Wrap the chain strap from your handbag around your wrist

Wear leggings under your hareem trousers

Knot a short scarf around your neck

Combine checks with florals (and sequins if you like)

Knot your belt

Wear two sets of chunky necklaces for double the impact

Wear round Lennon-inspired shades

Ditch accessories for a completely pared-down look

Clip your purse to your belt rather than your handbag
